I was invited back to the Archipel Festival to premiere a new piece for birbyne by Nadir Vassena. His stunning Sei Studi took the instrument into uncharted territory. It was a real pleasure being part of the Ensemble Vide concert with Denis Schuler and his musicians.

One of the most astounding places I have ever played was the GES2 power station in Moscow before it was converted into the V-A-C contemporary art center. We were there to perform Naljorlak in the GEOMETRY OF NOW festival. Wow!

For many years Cathy Milliken and I played together as a duet called VENTURES, exploring and commissioning works for oboe and clarinet. The Hiemathafen concert hosted by Kontraklang brought us back together in Berlin. It was fun.

Great performances of EVENT at the Pavillon Noir in Aix-en-Provence.Though Serge Teyssot-Gay and I have been playing together in different groups for 10 years, It was working with Robert Swinston and the CNDC dancers from Angers that has made us into the duet that we call NACARAT.

The Fondation Cartier in Paris hosted a fabulous Radigue concert, with Carol Robinson, Dafne Vincente-Sandoval, Nate Wooley, Silvia Tarozzi, Louis Michel Marion and the Onceim orchestra.
